Blog question # 2 Response

1.) I don't feel that art is a form of pleasure because it's not like a sexual need I mainly look at it as expressions. Art to me is a way to just express yourself without speaking or telling someone how you feel. You can tell alot by what a painter was feeling when you look at their art work. Looking at art brings people together because it makes people discuss what they see, and everyone starts to think together. I look at it as a large entity because people buy artwork for millions of dollars and they come from all over the world to look at artist work.

2.) There is one art piece that I love because it's kind of humorous but it also makes you think when you look at it. Edward Munch is the author that created the Scream painting you might have seen it. In the painting it looks like a man has his hands on his face and he is screaming by the way his mouth is shaped. I don't know alot about the artist but his painting makes me ask myself like why did he use those colors and why is the man screaming. You really can know about the artist life because that would let you know what type of paintings they like to do, but knowing personal things that really don't affect your way of liking their work.
