Juan Trevino

I am reading a story called Persepolis. It is about a young girl. She is ten years old. She was attending a non religous school where boys and girls were together until all Bilingual schools had to be closed. They thought it was symbols of capitalism, of decadence. Known as a cultural revolution. The little girl and all of her freinds and classmates found their selves vieled and seperated. People were agreeing with the veil, alot were against it. The little girl didnt know how to feel about the veil, she was very religious but her family as one were very modern. Eversince the little girl was a baby she was born with religion. She was basically a prophet at the age of 6. She is very religious. The year of the revolution, the little girl had to take action. so she put her prophetic destiny aside for a while. But the revolution was getting really bad. That was my intro to the story. In a way, I feel some what connected to her. She is young and doesn't want to be seperated from adults. When I was her age I always wanted to be around adults. Also, she was seperated from her freinds at a young age. I can relate to her because I was seperated from my school and couldn't see my freinds.
