Kameron (Lecture)

The lecture that stood out the most to me, was how Hollywood lies to the public about Africa. The lady was trying to tell everyone that whites don't run Africa and there's more to Africa than just lions and tigers. I liked the lecture because it showed how ignorant some people are for example when the white boy in crowd had asked "was the watermelon good" I felt totally offended that he would ask a question like that knowing the presenter is black and there were blacks in attendance. The lecture showed the true colors of people, some people didn't even know that Africa was modernized some thought that all Africans still ran around with cloths and no shoes and that isn't true. she pointed out the fact that there more to Africa than what Hollywood presents to the public. I agree with her hollywood needs to change there prespective towrad africa and they need to be more serious.
