My favorite lecture

Through out these last two and a half weeks, there was a lot of lectures. Personally, I didn't like any of them. I felt that they were pointless, and that we didn't need to know any knowledge on what they were about. Maybe other people feel different than I do. Or maybe they share the same opinion as I do. But personally, they weren't for me. I feel like they weren't needed. There was one that I payed the most attention to. It was the Stephanie Shonekan. The reason why this lecture was the only one that amused me is because it was very graphical and the speaker got the students involved. It wasn't just a boring lecture like the others where the speaker just talks the whole time to the point where I lose all focus because of a lack of interest to listen. This speaker was outgoing, fun, and enjoyable. She showed us photo's that we could understand, and relate to. For instance, a cover of the movie, The Lion King. describing to us, why is their only animals in a movie about Africa? Why don't they show the beautiful culture and race in the movie? What she was saying made sense. I was enjoyed by her lecture. But still, I felt like we don't need the lecture.
