Most people can say they;ve experienced times in their life that they felt were very serious. However, not everyone can speak of a time in which something happened as serious as the things that happened in Maryjane's life. But I'll write about a time in which was serious to me. When I was a sophomore in high school I went through an experience which changed my life forever. My best friend whom I trusted more than anything, stole my girlfriend. When I began to speak out and react harshly about the situation, others stopped being my friend because they liked him better. The friends I did have left wouldn't set aside much time for me because they preferred to hang out with them more than me. So I gave up. I locked myself in my room and spent all of my time recording little psychedelic instrumental tunes. I read books by Herman Hesse, ditched school, slept full days, and grew my hair past my shoulders. Though it was one of the most depressing times in my life, it was completely necessary in becoming who I am today. It was my beginning to music, production, reading on my own, and living free.
